Advanced snorkeling techniques

Although it is possible to dive underwater for a closer examination of the treasures so generously offered beneath the water the process is a bit more involved and will require some practice on your part. Should you desire to view a fish swimming a few feet beneath you at a closer range you will be required to dive under the barrier of the water. As you diver under the water your snorkel will begin to fill up quickly with water preventing you from being able to breathe as you previously did. Upon resurfacing, you will have to clear your air passenger in the snorkeling tube to once again breathe normally. As we said it would involve a bit of practice to get accustomed to this procedure however many experienced snorkelers do in fact dive below the surface for better views.
