From the beach, swim to the coral reef. Spot Bottom Type: coral Visibility (ft): 30 Depth (ft): 6 to 12 Things to See: Coral, all kind of fish, geant murena (6 ft), turtle, ... Hazards: A great coral reef ( 2,000 meters) is just in front of the sheraton hotel of soma bay ; a diving center for scuba diving is also on this spot and a bridge (300 meters) bring you to the coral reef. You can also swim from the beach to the coral reef. Lot of boat coming from surrounding hotels bring scuba divers and snorkelers to this reef. Probably the best snorkeling site of the red sea. Best Period to Snorkel: I was ther in june and in september and it was marvelous Experience Level: advanced |
