How to get there: You could take the Palmetto Park Road east from I-95 or Federal Highway, then head north on Ocean Boulevard about one mile. Red Reef Park opens at 8:00 A.M. and closes at 10:00 P.M. seven days per week.

Things to See: The beach has a man made reef that attracts lots of fish. The artifical reef is very close to shore. The rest is sandy bottom. You'll see tropical fish, parrot fish, occasional sea turtles, barracuda, eels and stingrays and manatees if you are lucky.

Best Period to Snorkel: Whole year long. It would be best to snorkel at high tide.
